2010-2011 Registration Information

 

Welcome!  Whitemud West Hockey Association is a member of the E.M.H.A. and provides programs for players aged 4 to 15 years.  The Whitemud West area is bounded by Stony Plain Road and McKinnon Ravine on the north, the North Saskatchewan River on the east and south, and the city limits on the west.  If you are not in these boundaries, please contact EMHA at

The following documents are required for all new players: 

• A copy of player’s Birth Certificate,
• A copy of Alberta Health Care,
• Proof of residency (i.e. driver’s license),
• Corporate Family Community League Membership (see below for details )

There are 3 options available for registration:

1.   In Person Registration

 

Returning players, please bring your pre-printed registration form with you and ensure that all information is accurate.  Our primary method of communication is email so please ensure that email address (es) are correct. Blank registration forms for new players will be available at the office. All players are required to purchase a CORPORATE  FAMILY COMMUNITY LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP for $25.00 (scroll down below for further important details).

2.   Mail In Registration

 

Mail in completed registration form with required documents and payment for registration fees and CORPORATE RATE FAMILY COMMUNITY LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP (1 cheque can be submitted for the total of registration fees and Corporate Family Community League Membership) to:

3. On-line Registration

 

It is advisable to download and print off the REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNING WWHA MEMBERS NEW TO ONLINE REGISTRATION  FIRST  before beginning the online registration process, as it is a step-by-step guideline to register on-line.

New players to Whitemud West Hockey Association are not able to register on-line.  Please follow the Mail In Registration process or contact the office at 486-6486.

 

2010-2011 WWHA HOCKEY REGISTRATION FEES

Registrations for returning Whitemud West players Novice thru Bantam that are received after July 31st are subject to an additional $100.00 fee. This does NOT apply to players NEW to WWHA.

 

 

 Payment may be made by cash, cheque, Visa or Mastercard and cheques may be post dated to July 31^st. Please note **NO BINGOS REQUIRED**

  

  CHANGES TO  COMMUNITY LEAGUE MEMBERSHIPS

WWHA will NOT be issuing community league membership cards this year. 

On April 19, 2010 the General Membership for the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues voted in favor of the following recommendation:  "That the Edmonton Minor Hockey Association be granted the right to sell $25.00 "Corporate Rate" family community league memberships to all of its minor hockey players, during hockey registrations."  Therefore, all families of WWHA will pay an additional $25.00 in lieu of purchasing their community league memberships at time of registration.

DEFINITION:  CORPORATE RATE FAMILY MEMBERSHIP.
The Corporate Rate family membership is a special standardized rate of $25.00 for any Community League Family Membership when sold through the Edmonton Minor Hockey Association. This rate is available only to Hockey Registrants.  The fee amount was based on the average fee of Community League Memberships
across the city. 

Leagues will be issuing cards after August 15, 2010.  If you do not receive your card or have question on how to obtain your community league card and skate tags you must contact the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues at http://www.efcl.org/.  All query’s for community league membership should be directed to EFCL.

Whitemud West Hockey will not be giving out or selling any community league membership cards or skate tags.
